Indawgyi Lake

We were told in Hopin that there were big mountains to get to Indawgyi lake 70/80 km away. Not only the mountain was steep (and mercifully not too long) but there was a constant traffic of trucks carrying oil drums full of diesel presumably for the machinery involved in the jade mines further up the valley. 
By the time we reached Lonton, where the one guesthouse accepting foreigners was, I was exhausted, but the rural and peaceful landscape where people wearing colourful clothes and conical straw hats were working in the fields , was magical...
