Gazpacho (cold tomato soup, sounds dreadful but it is absolutely delicious, refreshing and nourishing at the same time.
Served with grilled fish (sardines?), olives, bread, local (most drinkable) wine. John had carapau a bras (fish and chips really), horse mackerel with tasty potatoes
