By the river Guadiana

We left the coast just before Villa Real de San Antonio, cycled through Castro Marim where we stopped for lunch. Cycling afterwards was excruciatingly hot and the hills nearly killed us off. When we saw the river and couldn't find anywhere suitable to put our tent (everywhere was either carefully cultivated or rocky and steep) we asked the Café owners (English!) and they let us camp nearby and use their toilets. Fantastic!
